If you want to make your start menu to work faster then follow the steps below :
Go to run and type regedit then navigate to : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
Add or Edit Sring = MenuShowDelay, Value = 0 -(make it 400)
It changes the delay that for Windows to show a menu in the start menu.
